FastQC ported to Qt5: A quality control tool for high throughput sequence data. A simple way to do some quality control checks on raw sequence data coming from high throughput sequencing pipelines. It provides a modular set of analyses which you can use to give a quick impression of whether your data has any problems of which you should be aware before doing any further analysis.

No java dependency. And probably faster because it is written in C .
We don't provide all fastQC analysis right now. But we are working on it and on new one too.
And by the way, the user interface is different allowing you to visualize many analysis in the same time
