PLUTO Network

You'll probably find more from our whitepaper, the link's on our homepage https://pluto.network

Blockchain works as a backbone for our service. IPFS, or a decentralized file storage will be used for storing academic outputs. But what we believe to be more strong is the game theoretic incentivizing of Peer Reviews & reputation systems enabled by the smart contracts' programmable interfaces. Incentivizing the reviewing activities (with both tokens and reputation) will make a true objective & quantitative evaluation indices for research outputs which was traditionally dependent on not-so-effective IF and citation counts. The reputation will work as a weighting factor for every say of researcher (1reputation 1vote). To put it simple we think that the weighted wisdom of the crowd will work in Science.

All these things are achievable with aid of blockchain.

I hope my answer helped you, and feel free to reach us if you have any other concerns. Thanks for your interest Bess.
